Nyuujitanken (Explore New Zealand) - NZ tourism website in Japanese

In 2001, BTM launched Nyuujitanken (Explore NZ) as one of the first NZ tourism websites completely in Japanese. Our latest portal site, re-launched in June 2009, was totally redesigned to maximise ease of access to more information. It also provides a range of ways that visitors can make bookings either directly, or via third- party booking engines. There are links to online shopping, and more. Nyuujitanken is aimed at the first-time visitor as well as the repeat visitor to New Zealand.

There are a number of search categories, including searching via region/town; accommodation; flights; tours; plus a variety of activity categories such as walking/hiking, adventure, study, ski; etc. There is also the usual general
information on New Zealand, as well as links to sites offering New Zealand products for sale online.

We pride ourselves in the consistently high ranking Nyuujitanken receives on major Japanese search engines. For example, when searching using the term
“ニュージーランド” (which means “New Zealand” in Japanese), Nyuujitanken consistenly ranks in the top 20 sites on the major Japanese Search Engines, such as Yahoo Japan, Google Japan, Goo, Excite Japan, and Infoseek Japan.
